Improved forest management and forest adaptation across woodlands in Germany, Austria, Italy and Czechia, certified under the Waldklimastandard of the eva foundation, with third-party validation by TÜV Nord and TÜV Austria to ISO 14064-2. Several projects are registered in the eva Wald-Klimastandard registry, among them Wendland (DE00102, IFM02, 19,919 tonnes creditable, issued 22 April 2024), Benfe (DE00047), Deselaers (DE00050), Herzfelde (DE00097) and Rosenau (DE00150). The registry lists the forest owner as operator, so the entries do not carry the Pina name. Other projects, including Lindorf, appear only in Pina Earth's own registry. The standard holds an ICROA conditional endorsement. No CRCF methodology for improved forest management is in force yet, so these are not CRCF units.

Greenlyte Carbon Technologies
Greenlyte Carbon Technologies
DACCS DE DAC developer EU · in CRCF scope
Direct air capture developer in Essen, Germany, with a process that captures CO2 and co-produces hydrogen. Its EU plants currently feed fuels, not storage: the LiquidSolar SNG plant in Duisburg was inaugurated in November 2025, and the plant at Chempark Marl is to produce e-methanol under an offtake agreement with MB Energy. Carbon used in fuels is released again, so it does not produce a CRCF unit. Greenlyte's storage partnerships are outside the EU, with Deep Sky in Quebec and Cella Mineral Storage in Kenya. DACCS is an adopted CRCF methodology, so an EU plant paired with permanent storage would qualify; we have found no such pairing and have asked.

Carbo Culture
Carbo Culture Oy
Biochar NL No EU registry entry yet; earlier Puro.earth certification covered the Californian demo reactor EU · in CRCF scope
Biochar carbon removal using the company's Carbolysis pyrolysis reactors. The EU activity is ARC Middenmeer at Wagenpad 14 on the Agriport A7 estate in North Holland, built with ECW Energy and Royal Pride inside the Middenmeer horticulture and data centre cluster, designed for more than 20,000 tonnes of CO2 removal a year, around 40,000 cubic metres of biochar for Dutch greenhouses, 16 MW of energy and a 20 year service life. The Netherlands Enterprise Agency RVO awarded the company 3.5 million euro under the TSE Industrie Studies programme for the engineering and validation work needed to bring Carbolysis to industrial scale. The plant is not built: the environmental impact report is being prepared, the construction permit has not yet been applied for, and the company states no dates. Carbo Culture is a Finnish company, Carbo Culture Oy, with staff in Helsinki, London, Oslo and Copenhagen, and its earlier Puro.earth certified biochar came from a demo reactor in California, outside the scope of the CRCF. This entry therefore covers the Dutch project, not the company's history.

Peatland rewetting (carbon farming) DE MoorFutures EU · in CRCF scope
ZukunftMoor develops and runs peatland rewetting in Lower Saxony, filling ditches and building polders with sphagnum cultivation to raise water levels and cut emissions. Its Langenhausen project in the Teufelsmoor near Gnarrenburg covers about 50 hectares and avoids roughly 1,800 tonnes CO2e per year. The project is registered under the MoorFutures standard, which the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ministry developed together with the University of Greifswald. First Climate holds the exclusive marketing partnership. We could not verify independently who validated this particular project. CRCF carbon farming methodologies, including peatland rewetting, were adopted in July 2026. ReGeneration
ReGeneration Soil Carbon S.A.S.
Soil carbon (carbon farming) FR / BE Verra VCS 5118 (VM0042), registration requested EU · in CRCF scope
Soil carbon programme for arable, livestock, mixed and vineyard farms across mainland France and Belgium, listed with Verra as "Farm Resilience and Regeneration in France and Belgium" under the VM0042 methodology with a measure-and-model approach. It covers up to 460,000 hectares and around 3,100 farms over a crediting period running to 2043, and the project description states it targets net carbon removals. This is a grouped project: new farmers and hectares join each year, which is why the registry figure for annual removals (13,849 tCO2e, the validated group of 20 farmers extrapolated over the crediting period) is far below the project description figure (428,000 tCO2e, which projects the planned scale-up). The developer expects registration by February 2027. Until the Verra registry shows a registration date, this listing stays developer-stated.

Rock Flour Company
Rock Flour Company
Enhanced rock weathering DK INNO-CCUS, Project ICEFIELD EU · in CRCF scope
Company sourcing glacial rock flour in Greenland and spreading it on cropland, where it weathers and binds carbon as carbonate. Greenland is not part of the EU, so only the application sites count here: Project ICEFIELD runs field pilots across Denmark, from small research plots to commercial-scale fields, and is building what it describes as Denmark's first certified enhanced rock weathering credit pathway. The company states that Denmark is its first deployment market, while its longer-term plan is to ship material to warmer regions, with trials in Ghana. Enhanced rock weathering is not carbon farming under the Regulation, because the carbon does not go into a biogenic pool; it would have to qualify as a permanent removal. No CRCF methodology exists for it, the Commission lists it at exploration stage.

Afforestation and reforestation FR Label Bas Carbone (Boisement, Reboisement) EU · in CRCF scope
Afforestation and reforestation on forests the company owns and manages itself. The French projects are labelled under the state-run Label Bas Carbone, ten of them listed in the ministry's daily updated registry of labelled projects, covering afforestation of former farmland and prairie and reforestation of Sitka spruce stands hit by storm Ciaran. Label Bas Carbone recognises reductions only after third-party verification five years into a project, so the labelled volumes are potential credits, not issued ones. Only the French projects are listed here, because only they are verifiable in a public registry. The company additionally states more than 65 forests across five European countries and afforestation and peatland restoration projects in Belgium, Denmark and Germany certified under MoorFutures, which this directory has not checked. In the eva Wald-Klimastandard registry EcoTree appears only as a credit holder with 1,045 tonnes and no projects, so that entry says nothing about its own project work.

Afforestation and reforestation DE eva Wald-Klimastandard (ARR01) EU · in CRCF scope
A partnership of freelance forestry experts in Brück, Brandenburg, working for private and corporate forest owners, which acts as the registered project operator for their forest carbon projects. The eva Wald-Klimastandard registry lists it as operator of five projects with eight certifications and 12,823 tonnes brought into the registry, among them Passow, Hagelberg, Schmerwitz and the forest of F3 Forest and Farming for Future. Of that volume 12,253 tonnes have been transferred on, to the forest owners themselves and to corporate buyers. The firm's own website presents forest inventory, planning and GIS services and does not mention carbon projects at all, so the registry is the only public record of this part of its work. The eva standard has not applied for CRCF recognition, so these are not CRCF units.
