Sysav
Sysav Industri AB
Municipal waste company in Malmö planning carbon capture at its Spillepengen waste-to-energy plant under the name SkyZero, designed for roughly 400,000 tonnes of CO2 a year, of which about 60 percent is biogenic. A final investment decision is expected in 2027 and operation around 2030. The project depends on the planned Malmö CO2 Hub at the port for intermediate storage and shared transport. Sparbanken Skåne signed a letter of intent in 2025 to buy negative emission certificates. BioCCS is an adopted CRCF methodology, no CRCF certification is confirmed for this project yet.
