Danish biogas operator capturing biogenic CO2 at its Kalundborg Bioenergy facility, liquefying it on site and trucking it to Esbjerg for permanent storage in the Nini West reservoir under the INEOS-led Greensand project. The capture and liquefaction plant was supplied by Kanadevia Inova BioMethan. The company holds a contract from the Danish Energy Agency's NECCS fund for negative emissions. BioCCS is an adopted CRCF methodology, no CRCF certification is confirmed for this project yet.
