Greenlyte Carbon Technologies
Greenlyte Carbon Technologies
Direct air capture developer in Essen, Germany, with a process that captures CO2 and co-produces hydrogen. Its EU plants currently feed fuels, not storage: the LiquidSolar SNG plant in Duisburg was inaugurated in November 2025, and the plant at Chempark Marl is to produce e-methanol under an offtake agreement with MB Energy. Carbon used in fuels is released again, so it does not produce a CRCF unit. Greenlyte's storage partnerships are outside the EU, with Deep Sky in Quebec and Cella Mineral Storage in Kenya. DACCS is an adopted CRCF methodology, so an EU plant paired with permanent storage would qualify; we have found no such pairing and have asked.
