Polish company in Różankowo planting fast-growing Paulownia, official partner and exclusive Polish distributor of WeGrow. The Oncra registry lists DTPL001, an 18.25 hectare Paulownia system in Jeziorany and Lasin started in 2024, as pre-validated, with 2,397 tonnes of CO2 in potential units counting carbon in biomass and soil, and none delivered so far. The company also sells Paulownia seedlings and plantations for timber production. The adopted CRCF afforestation methodology, C(2026)4666, allows non-native species such as Paulownia only where it is demonstrated that the native species and their provenances are no longer adapted to the projected climatic and pedo-hydrological conditions of the activity area and that the selection does not harm ecosystem conditions. Oncra has applied for CRCF recognition; until it is granted, these are not CRCF units.
